The Alliance of Friendship are a group of misfitted heroes who swore their support and loyalty to Princess Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Spike, Sunset Shimmer, Starlight Glimmer and Mirage the Illusionist along with the Pillars of Old Equestria: Star Swirl the Bearded, Rockhoof, Mage Meadowbrook, Somnambula, Mistmane, Flash Magnus and Stygian so that they would bring honor to all in Equestria and all other worlds and triumph over evil.
